Sir, – Fair dues to Jack Gallagher and the other Dublin City Marathon finishers in that age group (Conor Pope, "Dublin marathon winner (83) faces fight for prize money", February 16th). They are living proof that you do not stop running when you start to get old; you start to get old when you stop running.
