Sir, - Liz McManus's continued defence of her party's new health policy (May 1st) contains the same dearth of detail and substance as earlier efforts. Labour's latest health document - a policy document if accepted, a mere discussion document if not - remains amorphous, uncosted, unspecific and easy to run away from.
Trumpeted as a panacea for the problems experienced in our health services, it places publicity before policy and PR before the patient. Health policy deserves better. - Yours, etc.,
