Sir, - As a member of Leopardstown Club I have learned with concern that the members of the Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council by a majority decision have approved the building of a motorway (rather than an underpass) through part of the Leopardstown racecourse, with consequences which will be disastrous. Since this race course is owned by the I.H.A. it is my belief that many racegoers would be interested to know what action is contemplated before it is vandalised. - Yours, etc.,
