Sir, - Kathleen Kelleher (December 13th) asked if anyone could explain why miscarried and still-born babies are not given a full baptism and a full burial.
This is something which has long troubled me and I am sure it also troubles many other people. What becomes of their bodies without a Christian burial? What becomes of their souls without a Christian Baptism? Could I add my voice to that of Kathleen Kelleher in the hope that one of your many clerical readers would help us. - Yours, etc.,
