Sir, - Joseph McCullough (April 24th) is surely right in saying that to replace the Loop Line bridge by a graceful, slender and inconspicuous bridge, made possible by modern technology, is greatly preferable to re-routing the DART to the East (down-river) and losing the use of Connolly, Tara Street and Pearse Stations in the process. It would also be, as he says, very much cheaper.
Since such a bridge has been designed and has won a prize, let us at least see a picture of it so that we can judge for ourselves whether or not it would seriously interfere with the view of the Custom House. - Yours, etc.,
Maurice Craig,
