Sir, – With the raging voices questioning everything, one would think that the Government had created the pandemic. Do people not understand the situation? The Government cannot provide definitive answers because it does not know all the answers. Nobody knows. It is a question of learning day by day.
I do not find it helpful to hear a constant barrage of complaint. It increases anxiety and negativity. And I fail to see how it can be helpful to anyone, not least our Government, which is doing its best to tread uncharted waters.
I would call on the people of Ireland to take a breath, grow up and try and row together in these turbulent waters. When people panic, the boat is more likely to turn over. – Yours, etc,
