Madam, - Readers should be made aware of a rash of sudden deaths in the Dún Laoghaire area. In each instance the victim is a Gaelic scholar of middle to late years, and the apparent cause of death is apoplectic seizure.
Several poor wretches have been found still clutching copies of Fr Dineen's great work, and in all cases the bodies were found at the foot of one of the council's new parking permit dispensers, the ones carrying the inscription "Meaisín Páirceála". You have been warned.
