Sir, - Is it possible to have an opinion that differs from the chorus of approval currently surrounding the Michael Collins film, and not be classed as a "Brit"? It appears not. Eoghan Harris has stepped away from the herd in relation to this film and is being portrayed as "anti-national" etc. for doing so.
Most of your correspondents betray a republican bent where this movie and Eoghan Harris's evaluation of it are concerned, yet they appear not to have any tolerance for the dissenting voice. Very strange. One wonders what Tone would make of it all. - Yours, etc.,
Weavers Street, The Coombe, Dublin 8.
