Sir, – In light of the Michaella McCollum interview on RTÉ on Sunday night, I presume that we can now look forward to similar interviews with others as they emerge from incarceration because of their criminal activities. Recent events in Dublin would suggest that RTÉ must have plenty of material available on its doorstep.
It would be good to get an assurance from RTÉ that had this been a young man of similar age from inner-city Dublin, and in the same situation, that a similar interview would have been planned and funded.
