Sir, - I agree with Adrian Carroll (September 7th). Mo Mowlam played a major and quite beneficial part in Northern Irish politics, despite her illness and her disownment by her own Government, which she served so well. She worked constantly for the good of the people, in contrast to many politicians we are so familiar with at present. Ms Mowlam is a wonderful person and a first-rate politician. She has done us all a service in her dedication to the peace process. One can only hope we find a suitable manner in which to show our appreciation. - Yours, etc.,
Cormac Molloy, Portmarnock, Co Dublin.
