Sir, - In the Gate Theatre last Saturday night, in spite of the abundance of notices throughout the building requesting patrons to please turn off mobile phones, three of them bleated for attention during the performance.
Could this be taken as evidence that mobile phones do damage the brains of their users? - Yours, etc.,
