Madam, - To my mind Michael McGann (May 1st) is mistaken when he says that "the case for or against embryonic stem cell research depends upon when you consider human life to begin."
I am willing to accept that a new human life begins at conception but I do not accept that a clump of embryonic cells has the same rights as a child. - Yours, etc,
