Sir, - I was very impressed by the warm tributes paid to the late Mr Justice Rory O'Hanlon by your Legal Affairs correspondent, Carol Coulter, and by his former colleagues (The Irish Times, March to the late Justice Rory O'Hanlon.
Mr Frank Clarke SC bemoaned the fact that Rory O'Hanlon became associated in the public mind with controversial issues such as abortion and divorce. I would have thought that what we should be bemoaning is that there are so few highly qualified individuals in this country who are prepared to put their principles before their own advancement.
