Sir, - Dr Maurice Craig's letter (June 29th) reminds us of the French company which kept Dublin's streets clean in the 1930s.
Dr Craig may also remember our French master, the late Bobs Figgis, pointing out to us that the secretary or managing director of the company, whose name appeared on all its vehicles, bore the very appropriate surname of Boudeville (mud of the city). - Yours, etc.,
Shankill,
Co Dublin.
