Sir, - On RTE Radio the brother of the murdered 16-yearold Co Down boy James Morgan, said he had no doubt that the murder was sectarian, that someone had "beaten the life" out of James because he was a Catholic.

Eighteen-year-old Bernadette Martin was shot four times in the face because she was a Catholic with a Protestant boyfriend.

Sean Browne was kidnapped, tortured and murdered because he was a Catholic associated with a Nationalist sporting organisation.

Robert Hamill was kicked to death after being chased by a Loyalist mob through Portadown.
