Sir, – Regarding the novel idea of playing Percy French songs to beef cattle before they’re slaughtered (April 21st), we are told the music helps them relax. The more stress-free the animal, the more tender the meat, the theory goes. I wonder will classic French tunes like “Abdul Abulbul Amir” and “McBreen’s Heifer” be on the playlist. Yours, etc,
