Madam, - John Kenny of Ringsend, and Emer Higgins of Brittas (March 16th) are troubled by comments made by Mr Maurice Neligan. They invite us to believe that he has been insensitive and dismissive. On the other hand, they might consider the possibility that Mr Neligan, under the constraints of being a gentleman, recoils from joining those who, being exquisitely sensitive, continue to kick a wounded man on the ground. That exercise, as we so vividly have seen, can safely be left to others. - Yours, etc,
Dr CYRIL DALY, Howth Road, Killester, Dublin 5.
