Sir, - Robert Rochford (June 27th) appears to be suffering from a bad case of disappointed Nice Treaty supporter syndrome. He certainly exhibits the classic symptom of this condition, an uncanny ability to read other people's minds.
Not only does he understand why No voters acted as they did but, even more remarkably, he knows that "500 million" Europeans who have never been consulted about the Nice Treaty support it. Can the average citizen acquire this skill or is it exclusive to supporters of the Nice Treaty? - Yours, etc.,
