Madam, - Why is it that nicotine chewing gum is harder to get than cigarettes?
I have been using the gum since giving up the death sticks on New Year's Day. As a smoker I could buy cigarettes in pubs, clubs, restaurants, newsagents, supermarkets, petrol stations, etc.; but for some bizarre reason the only place I can get nicotine chewing gum is at the chemist's.
I know giving up isn't supposed to be easy. But for me it's either the gum or the smokes. It wasn't pleasant when I ran out of gum on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait until Monday morning before I could get more. - Yours, etc.,
