A Chara, - We spent a wonderful weekend at the beach. It would it have been perfect but for the constant, moronic drone of jet-skis. If a local council can remove dogs from the beach in the interest of public health, why can't similar action be taken against the jet-ski?
This machine damages all aspects of the environment - the air, the sea, the beach, all are affected its noise, spillages and emissions. It is particularly galling when one witnesses these machines speeding close to areas of special conservation, in this instance the Ballycotton bird sanctuary. - Is mise,
