Madam, - Government Ministers are permitted to speed on the nation's already perilous roads; despite some outrage, this sorry state of affairs persists. In the light of this, any move by the Minister of Transport to prevent Michael O'Leary of Ryanair from using bus lanes in his private taxi would be hilariously hypocritical.

Mr O'Leary has done much to create jobs and prosperity. The Government should not hinder him from continuing to generate business by having him stuck in traffic. - Yours, etc.,
