Sir, – Following the excellent review of "Once Before I Go" (October 5th), I rushed online to book. How long we have waited for live events to return? I was shocked to see the unreserved seating priced at €46.50 plus a commission of €1.50 – almost €100 for a couple. The booking site even has the unprompted offer of a €9 programme.
No doubt the theatre management will cite reduced audiences due to restrictions, but this will be seen for what it is by the discerning audience. I won’t be going “once” or at all. – Yours, etc,
