Sir, - I find it incredible that the Church of Ireland cannot face up to the annual reign of terror that blights the landscape each year at Drumcree church.
Cannot Mr Pickering follow the example of his co-religionists in St Ann's Church in Dawson Street Dublin and simply tell the Orangemen that they are not welcome at his church until they show respect for law and order and their Catholic neighbours on the Garvaghy Road?
Must the spires of Drumcree continue to flash onto television screens around the world as a symbol of bigotry, intolerance and hatred? - Yours, etc.,
