Sir, - I celebrate the fact that the freedom of Serbia has been won, not by the NATO bombing of the hospitals, railway bridges and television stations of Yugoslavia, but by the will of the people as expressed in a democratic election. There is a profound lesson here for the English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh people who inhabit these islands.
