Sir, – I note that the price of a litre of petrol has now exceeded €1.70. Is it not time to do away with the ludicrous practice of adding a decimal part of a cent to the price? I certainly am unable to supply any coin smaller than one cent and have yet to receive point four of a cent change if I purchase four litres of petrol priced at 170.9 cents for my lawn mower. – Yours, etc,
