Madam, - It was with much dismay that I discovered a planning application for a disused play pitch at St Raphaela's School, Stillorgan, lodged on August 3rd. I wonder how many planning applications were lodged across the country last week. Surely a planning moratorium should exist while the Dáil is on siesta, the council chambers are on holidays and half our elected representatives at the races? Not to mention a bank holiday and the height of the holiday season - Yours, etc,
