Madam, - The planning free-for-all in Kerry is a matter of national concern.
Madam, - The planning free-for-all in Kerry is a matter of national concern.
No one county is owned by the people that live there and the councillors who are elected to manage it. As Irish people, we must have a common concern for the entire country and must care for it on behalf of the current generation and those to come.
The councillors who are approving multiple Section 140 motions are the very worst type to have in local government. It would be encouraging to see our Government step in and make clear that it will not stand by and allow the rape of our beautiful countryside; but when a Government Minister representing the county does nothing, content to ride on the coat-tails of his party colleagues in the council for electoral advantage, then there is little hope left. - Yours, etc.,
