Sir,– It would appear from the latest poll that The Irish Times has published that there is a party in office with no power and a party that has the power but which is not in office.
The most important thing for Ireland in business and other areas is stability. I do not think that Irish people want an election in the short term but perhaps it is becoming inevitable.
Given our experience over the last number of years of austerity, and now the uncertainty of Brexit, we need stability above all else. We need leadership. – Yours, etc,
