Sir, – In the light of the Oireachtas committee’s report on direct provision services and the recent Amárach Research survey on negative attitudes on immigration , I suggest the Poolbeg stacks are repainted to resemble “two fingers”. These can then communicate clearly the attitude to those seeking to create a new life here. – Yours, etc,
