Sir, - Other, more learned music lovers than I will undoubtedly rebut Mr Deane's treatment of Mozart's music (February 22nd).
In the meantime, I console myself with the fact that other composers/pianists such as Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Britten all adored Mozart's work. These names may not be quite as famous as Mr Deane's, but they'll do for me. - Yours, etc.
