Sir, Poor Father David O'Hanlon and poor Ireland if the only comment that a "neophyte 28 year old Irish priest" can make on our President as "cheap, bedizened in her Kelly green". I thought the time had long gone when the only classification that men had for women was cheap or expensive.
On a more sombre note the insistence that the only properly respectful woman is a veiled woman reveals a psychological mind set that would return women from equality in public life to veiled obscurity, nowadays only associated with fundamentalist Islam.
