Sir, – Conor Pope does an enormous service to our community, particularly to the vulnerable and the disadvantaged. His weekly Pricewatch column tackles many fronts, often in areas that we never consider but should. His service to readers in resolving issues with the commercial world is a revelation.
What is little known is that many of his tireless resolutions of reader issues never reach print. I know this through the personal experience of a close friend who had major financial issues resolved by his intervention.
He is without doubt my nomination for “Business Person of the Year”. – Yours, etc,
