Madam, - I see the the Pope has launched yet another attack on gay people in loving relationships attempting to have their partnerships officially recognised (World News, February 23rd). To refer to such unions as part of an "ideology of evil" seems to demonstrate a clear misunderstanding of the teachings of the son of God whom he is supposed to represent.
I note also that he compares abortion to the "legal extermination" of Jews and other groups in the 20th century. Is he not aware that gay people were one of the other groups targeted by the Nazis? - Yours, etc.,
