Pornography On Display

Sir - It has been encouraging to see some thoughtful letters in The Irish Times on pornography. Adam May's letter of February 9th was particularly good.

As the Government is profiting from pornography (through VAT) surely we should be demanding a response to the points he raised, particularly the need for licences for those connected with this unfriendly-to-family media.

Would any TDs wish to respond to Adam May's thoughtful critique of the way our society is drifting? Is it now ruled by laissez-faire "market forces"? - Yours, etc., Louis Hemmings,
