Sir, – I attended the outpatient department of Temple Street Children’s University Hospital in Dublin with my grandson last Friday, expecting a long wait. I arrived to organised chaos, but after a surprisingly short time, we were finished. What struck me was the extraordinary courtesy, respect, good humour and individual attention my grandson and every other child received from the receptionists, porters, nurses, and doctors.
Well done to all working in difficult surroundings, and on a very hot day too. – Yours, etc,
