Sir, - Rory O'Hanlon (September 13th) misses the point. As I understand it, the agency involved in the "Baby A" case gave the impression that it would give advice on abortion. It did so in the full knowledge that this was not the case and as we now know, proceeded to implement at least one illegal adoption.
Far from asking the women who suffered to undergo further scrutiny in order to satisfy Mr O'Hanlon's "interest", I would suggest that agencies which profess an exclusive Catholic ethos should fulfil their obligations and declare this fact in the Golden Pages. - Yours, etc.,
