Sir, - Congratulations to your paper for giving the full text of President McAleese's address to the houses of the Oireachtas (The Irish Times, December 17th). Your coverage was in sharp contrast to the meagre space allotted to the address in other newspapers which, incidentally, gave disproportionate space to what many would consider to be trivial by comparison with the President's inspiring address. - Yours, etc.,
