Sir, - You published a letter from Mr Paul Daly (September 19th) that stated I had criticised other parties for having to look outside their ranks for presidential candidates. I did not do so at any time and the basis for Mr Daly's mean-minded criticism simply does not exist.
I am surprised that your paper, which covered the event in question, should have published a letter that has no foundation in fact or in your own report of the event. - Yours, etc.,
