Sir, - Dick Spring was Minister for Foreign Affairs for long enough for all of us to know his agenda. That included pushing us closer to Nato, but not, in so far as I can remember, concern for the children of Chernobyl. His championing of Adi Roche is an exercise in political opportunism.
