NANCY O'FLYNN MPSI,
Sir, -Anne Walsh (January 30th) compares the price of Zineryt lotion dispensed by a hospital pharmacy with the price charged by her local pharmacy. The price at which the hospital sold the medicine is considerably lower than the price at which the community pharmacist can purchase it.

The comparison made by Ms Walsh is akin to comparing the price of a meal provided by a hospital canteen with that of a similar meal in a high street restaurant. - Yours, etc.,
