Sir, – Further to "Bishops create guidelines for priests with children" (News, August 19th), years ago, when a young man got a girl into what was euphemistically termed "trouble", the Catholic clergy went to considerable lengths to persuade or, indeed, enforce marriage on the couple. Surely the bishops might now give similar advice to their wayward clergy? – Yours, etc,
