Sir, - At first I couldn't understand why I felt so happy here on Inishbofin. Then it hit me like a thunderclap. No sitka spruce! No Coillte! Pristine mountains and rivers! For the first time in the 15 years I've lived in west Wicklow I feel sad to go home.
Hollywood, the Kings River valley, Glendalough were once magically clear and beautiful as here. Shame on the Government. Shame on Coillte. Shame on the EU. - Yours etc.,
