Sir, - Kevin Myers (An Irishman's Diary, May 25th) should be delighted to know that a teacher did remember Private John Condon. On May 24th, Julian Walton on Waterford Local Radio radio) told the tale of John Condon and the 300 hundred other Irishmen, mainly from Waterford and Tipperary, who died in Belgium on that day. Every day Mr Walton tells his listeners what happened "on this day". - Yours, etc.,
