Sir, – I passed the boarded-up fern house in the Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin recently and saw that the notice had changed. It now reads: “The OPW will take a phased approach to securing and faithfully restoring the cactus house and water lily house and provide a new, redeveloped fern house.”
Congratulations to the Office of Public Works for securing funding for this project and I look forward to watching the ongoing progress. – Yours, etc,
