Madam, – While browsing your website, irishtimes.com, (September 3rd), I couldn’t help noticing that topping the list of the most-read stories was not the statement by a high-ranking member of a Government party calling a snap-election possible (that was No 2), nor was it the latest figures on the public finances (No 3), but a story on the price of a mansion in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. When will the fascination with property end?
