Sir, – Bertie Ahern is right (“SF & DUP owe it to people to restore Executive ” August 14th). The situation whereby the politicians are not doing the jobs they were elected to do and still being paid would not be tolerated in any other country in the world. It is time to stop mollycoddling them.
Stop their salaries and we would soon see reality take hold. “Money answereth all things” (Bible). – Yours, etc,
