Madam, – After the allied invasion of Iraq, the Americans used a new method of identifying the most dangerous, most culpable figures in Saddam Hussein’s administration. Using a standard deck of 52 playing cards, they modified them to show a photograph of the individuals they held responsible for Iraq’s malfeasance, their record and their position on the most wanted list in card sequence.

Now that an invasion by the IMF and its allies is imminent, perhaps a similar deck of cards should be considered to identify those responsible for the financial weapons of mass destruction that have crippled our country.

I have my top 10 already to be designated, but I am sure others will have their own. If nothing else, the exercise will add to the gaiety of the nation, and perhaps dissuade unsuitable potential presidential candidates from emerging. – Yours, etc,

ANDY JONES,

Mullagh, Co Cavan.
