Pylons, turbines and tourism

Sir, – The tourist industry, you report, is alarmed at the impact of EirGrid's pylons on the tourist trade (Home News, November 29th). How is it that the proposal for over 2,000 giant wind turbines across five midland counties causes no such alarm? Have we already been written off as of no interest? –Yours, etc,
