Sir, – So it may well be a Bush/Clinton race to the highest political office in the world. Are we really to believe, in a country with a population of 320 million, that five such people can come from just two families?
Does anyone else think this is ludicrous? – Yours, etc,

Sir, – In your June 17th editorial "Clintons and Bushes do battle", it was stated Jeb Bush "currently stands 52 points in the polls behind" Hillary Clinton.
However, in the most recent survey by Real Clear Politics, which is an averaging of the results from five major national polls, the results showed Hillary Clinton with a lead of 5.2 points over Jeb Bush. None of the five major national polls showed a lead for Mrs Clinton of anywhere near 53 points. The decimal point seems to have shifted in crossing the pond. – Yours, etc,
