Sir, – On June 2nd, the German parliament overwhelmingly recognised the massacre of up to 1½ million Armenians by the Ottoman Turkish government between 1915 and 1922 as genocide. More than 20 other countries have now formally recognised this genocide, but Ireland has yet to do so. It is now time for Dáil Éireann and the Government to recognise the Armenian genocide. – Yours, etc,
